The missionaries came yesterday, and I have to say that I'd gotten used to them coming twice a week! Once a week doesn't seem like enough. Brother Peachy came along as their chaperone, and he has been assigned to be my home teacher! I don't know his companion though. It's nice that he lives so close, just a block away.
I talked to Vanessa today about the earthquake this morning (that was freaky!!), and she commented that I was now a visiting teacher... Well, that's news to me, lol. I knew it would happen, but since I don't know who my companion is or who my teachees will be, I don't feel official yet.
I can't wait to see the pictures and hear the audio from my baptism, but I know Michael is a busy person. Though he might be a lot LESS busy during the next 10 days since Vanessa and Jed will be in Montana.
As a recent convert I've found my focus changing to food storage, visiting teaching, scripture reading, and the Word of Wisdom just to name a few.
